* Be Government food inspection supervisors and planning officers in livestock quality control/marketing, production, processing and distribution of foods of animal origin.

* Have more than three (03) years' work experience in relevant fields

* Have Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

* Be proficient in spoken and written English

* Be under age of 45 years.

* Women are encouraged to apply for the program

* New prescribed JICA's Application forms along and specimen of surety bond, undertaking and FTC Performa can be downloaded from EAD's website www.ead.gov.pk under "Foreign Trainings" link in "Forms" ad also available on JICA's website www.jica.go.jp/pakistan/english/index.html.

* In case of selection of officer, the concerned Ministries/Division/Department are requested to ensure timely relieving of the officer along with NoC. Furthermore, the concerned officer may be directed to submit Post-Visit Training Report to this Ministry on priority basis.

* Be Permanent Government employee (BS-17 and above) nominated by the respective Federal Ministry or Provincial Department.

* At least two (2) years’ work experience related to the use of basic knowledge in chemistry, biological sciences or medicine.

* Hold a bachelor’s degree from a university/technical college.

* Demonstrate proficiency in English (speaking, reading and writing).

* Be in good health, both physically and mentally, and have a health certificate provided by an authorized physician. This form is also attached together with the Application Form. Pregnancy is regarded as a disqualifying condition for participation in the course.
